Conference submission guidelines

- We invite full papers (completed research) and developmental papers (research in progress).
- Conference submissions must use the UKAIS conference formatting template available here.
- Full papers of 5000-7000 words (excluding references) should document established results and will be presented according to the highest academic standards. Allocation of a 20-minute presentation time, followed by 10 minutes Q&A. Selected full papers will be uploaded to the AIS eLibrary.
- Research-in-progress (developmental) papers of 1500-2000 words (excluding references) should document research in progress and will be presented according to the highest academic standards. Allocation of a 15-minute presentation time, followed by 5 minutes Q&A. Research in progress papers are not uploaded to the AIS eLibrary.
- Authors may submit their paper to one and only one of the Conference Tracks.
- An author can be author or co-author of up to 3 submissions. If any author submits more than 3, the Programme Committee will consider only the first 3 submissions and the rest will be desk rejected without review.
- Track chairs are not allowed to submit to their track. However, they can submit to other tracks or the General Track
- Submissions should be made in English.
- We accept only original submissions: the same or very similar submissions should not have been published or be under consideration by other outlets at the time of submission.
- Submissions that violate any of the above-listed guidelines will be removed from the review process.
- For initial submissions, author names MUST NOT appear in the paper and care should be taken so as not to reveal the author identities in the body of the paper. After the final paper acceptance, authors will be asked to add their names and any acknowledgement declarations for the camera-ready version.
Doctoral Consortium Submission Guidelines

- Doctoral Consortium submissions must use the UKAIS formatting template available here.
- Doctoral Consortium papers should include a 500 – 1000 word abstract that summarises the aims, methods and the significance and relevancy of the research topic. The abstract should also contain the potential theoretical, methodological and/or practical contributions of their work. The submission should also include a Reference list. The list of references does not count towards the wordcount. Tables and Figures do not count towards the wordcount. Applicants should also attach an Appendix that provides a time plan of activities until completion.
- Your submission (cover page, abstract and/or appendices) should be in one single document.
- Submissions that do not conform to the above will be sent back to the applicant for revisions and submissions that significantly exceed the word count will be rejected.
